One of the highlights of life at Kona-Makai is the spectacular front-row seating for sunsets. Every evening folks gather down at the waterfront with their favorite beverage to enjoy the spectacular sunsets. I have been asked me why I enjoy sunsets so much, even those that are less than spectacular. My reply is that every sunset is spectacular because I could be somewhere else without a Kona sunset! What follows is my personal chronology of Kona-Makai sunsets. Maybe someday we can get a Kona Cam so we can see them live on the 'net!
